Cruickshank Sanctuary Field Trip

November 26, 2017 @ 4:00 am - 6:30 am

Free

Join our SCAS Board of Directors for a celebration remembering the Cruickshanks at the sanctuary named for them.  This will be our second year hosting this event.  A breakfast of coffee and bagels is provided by our chapter, for our members.  We want our members to see the kiosk and the material posted on site that explains just how important he Cruickshanks were to the birding world and to our chapter.  But wait it gets better.  Board of Directors Jim Stahl, Lora Losi, and Matt Heyden will lead us on a hike through the property focusing on rare, endangered, and threatened plants!  Cruiksank Sanctuary is place for Florida’s Scrub Jay.  You are almost certain to see several families of Jays on the property.
We’re doing this field trip on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 9 am. Email Matt at [email protected] if you have any questions.

Please use our RSVP tracker on the right side of this page to let us know if you are coming.
