Beginning Birding for Kids and Adults

Space Coast Audubon has teamed up with the Enchanted Forest Sanctuary staff to introduce kids from 12 and up and adults to the wonderful world of birds. The Enchanted Forest is Brevard County’s premier Environmentally Endangered Lands Sanctuary.

We will start with an indoor orientation program called “Soar into an Avian Adventure” that goes over birding basics as well as how to use binoculars.  The Enchanted Forest staff will have binoculars for you to use or you can bring your own pair.

After the program it is time to practice your new skills and check out the local birds in the sanctuary. Space Coast Audubon members Matt and Lora will help with trying to find birds.  Bring the whole family for a fun morning of birding.
