Birds, Bags, and Baci pizza

Please join Space Coast Audubon member Rochelle for some birding conversation and a social with a conservation twist. The group will be working on making reusable grocery bags from feed sacks being recycled/repurposed from Brevard Zoo. During the social we’ll clean, cut out and add some creative flair to the feed sacks in preparation for the next step, where volunteer seamstresses will sew them. This will be a warm up to a larger project when the snow birds (human and feathered) return. Pizza will be provided (special thanks to BACI and a business donor) and all supplies are included. No special talents needed (we even have stencils to help with drawing) – just a desire to have fun and share our love of nature.
