Cruikshank Sanctuary Field Trip

Join our SCAS Board of Directors for a celebration remembering the Cruickshanks at the sanctuary named for them. This will be our third year hosting this event. A breakfast of coffee and bagels is provided by our chapter, for members. We want our members to see the kiosk and listen to a brief talk by Charlie that explains just how important the Cruickshanks were to the birding world and to our chapter. But wait it gets better. Jim, Lora, Matt and Charlie will then lead us on a hike through the property focusing on rare, endangered, and threatened plants! Cruiksank Sanctuary is the place for Florida’s Scrub Jay. You are almost certain to see several families of Jays on the property.
