Florida Waterways documentary “Troubled Waters”

July 20, 2017 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

We hope you can join  The Space Coast Regional Chapter of the Florida Master Naturalists for a screening of the documentary “Troubled Waters”. Despite their importance, Florida’s waterways are suffering from significant pollution problems such as from stormwater runoff, poorly treated municipal and industrial wastewater, and failing septic tanks. Combined with impacts from a rapidly growing population, we have a potential recipe for disaster. This movie will help you understand the problem and provide ideas on how you can help.

The screening is being held on Thursday July 20th starting at 8:00pm. We will be watching the film on an outside screen at Riverwalk Nature Center, 5355 US Highway 1, Rockledge. Since we’ll be outside (weather permitting) please bring your own chair or blanket, snacks, and beverages. Popcorn will be available for sale. Also, bug repellant is highly recommended.

Invite your friends and family!

The event is listed on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pg/FMNPspacecoastregionalchapter/events/?ref=page_internal. Please feel free to share the event!
