PLANTS OF BREVARD – there are times when you’re out on a birding (or butterfly) trip and there are no birds to observe. But the plants are always there, whether it’s your backyard, a forest, a waterway or the coast. Brevard County has more than a quarter of all the native and naturalized plants in Florida. In this program we will look at some of the commonest, the rarest, the largest, the smallest, the most spectacular, and the more unusual of these.Speaker will be Space Coast Audubon board member and retired biologist/naturalist Jim Stahl.
