Event Navigation
RSVP for the eventAudubon board members Matt Heyden, Lora Losi and Jim Stahl, a retired botanist, will be leading a bird and plant field trip to Tosohatchee WMA on Sunday April 7, 2019. We will meet at 8:15 am at the Cracker Barrel at I-95 & SR 50 (Exit # 215) in the south parking lot. The trip will be from 8:30-12:00. There is a $3.00 charge per car so carpooling is highly recommended. Wear appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes as there will be some walking over dirt roads as we explore varied habitats looking for unique plants and birds. We will likely see Red Headed Woodpeckers, Brown Nuthatches, and Bluebirds. There is a restroom on location. Be sure to pack a lunch and bring drinks. In addition, you might want to bring a bird and/or plant guide. Please email Matt Heyden at [email protected] or call Jeff at 321-610-4443 if you have questions.
